When can I leave my cats unsupervised?

I just introduced a new cat (Zuko, 1.5 yr old male) to my cat Rufio (8 month old male) on Friday (4 days ago). I put Zu in the bathroom when I’m at work, and I keep them separated with a gate in the hallway when I’m home; they can meet at the gate if they want, or Zu can hide in the bathroom around the corner. When I first brought Zu home, both were at the gate sniffing each other with no signs of aggression. Day 2, they were playing/swatting through the gate. Day 3, Zu got past the gate and there was an impromptu meeting, which seemed to go very well. Today (day 4), they drank out of Zu’s water bowl together at the same time, and then Zu licked/groomed Ru’s face. They haven’t growled/hissed/fought at all. They seem a little cautious sometimes when they first approach each other; they approach slowly and then one of them usually rolls over and shows their belly (I don’t know if that means anything in cat politics or if that’s just dogs lol).

It’d be nice to just let Zu run around freely like Ru does, but I don’t know how long I should wait before leaving them unsupervised. They seem to really like each other; this process has been waayyyy faster/easier than I anticipated... but I don’t know if there’s a certain amount of time I should wait to ensure that friendship is “solid” before I leave them alone together.
