I just got my puppy and it’s about 6-8 weeks old. It’s supposed to be an outdoor dog when it gets bigger. (It’s a German Shepard) but I’ve been keeping it inside and try to get it to sleep in the kennel. 1st. I don’t know if letting it inside will affect the transition to being an outdoors dog later. 2nd. I work about 5 hours a day and I was wondering if anyone had any tips to do when I leave him home alone. Would blocking off the side of the room I don’t want him to go to and then leaving his kennel open be a good idea? So he can sorta roam free and still be able to go in his kennel if he chooses. And would letting watch videos make him feel less lonely? Sorry for the Long post I might even ask more in the comments when I think of them. Also I’ve had him for 2 days and I try to let him ignore his whining in the middle of the night because I read that that’ll become a habit to get attention. But I do comfort him when he starts barking because he gets way kind of loud.
