I was putting my sister’s turtle back in his tank since she forgot, he always scratches when you pick him up and he got through the skin this time. My hand immediately started burning so I put some hydrogen peroxide on it but it’s still burning, and itchy. What’s going on? Is it infected? It doesn’t look infected, but it might be.
Actually it could be just stinging and I’m mistaking that sensation for burning.
