I have started to move last month, preparing to adopt one of the stray cats (4 months). Not sure if they are still considered strays because they stay on our porch most of the time.
Yesteday I brought the kitten to the condominium and I can say he is very stressed as he was excessively rubbing and biting/clawing me sometimes. I'm now having second thoughts, it's sad to leave him again in my parents' house but I realized that his quality of life is better there as he has a bigger place to explore (outdoors only) compared to this indoors only life, also he has other cat friends there. Although outdoor has some risk since a small number of cars pass by once in a while but I think the kitten is used to it at this point.
I'm the one who mainly feeds the cats as my parents and sister only feed them leftovers. I have given my dad some food to feed the adult cats that are left there but I'm afraid it's not as much as before as condo life is very expensive also I'm assuming the adult cats are used to finding food in someplace else like the neighbors.
So my question is should I bring the kitten to my parents house again so he can explore again? And another question is should I leave him there or should I bring him back to the apartment.
Right now he is sleeping and calmed down a little bit, but he is not as active as before since there are no trees, bugs, other cats/people etc.
