So basically me and my wife removing from the basement at our in-laws to upstairs and we have three cats that are going upstairs as well. We got to up there already but there is this one that is really tricky to catch. He is a street cat that we got around for years ago but is incredibly intelligent and knowing if he's going to be located to another area that isn't the basement. We are having an incredibly hard time trying to get him upstairs as he avoids us at any cost by running into the back room and finding a way to an open area inside the roof where it's impossible to get him out. When I did I had was to blockade the area with stuff and catch him the old-fashioned way by putting them in a crate and just taking him upstairs but I was just curious if you guys had any other ideas to lure him out. It got to the point where he's incredibly suspicious whenever I'm down there or when it's meal time and he doesn't come out at the sound of a can opening.
