We have recently been moving out of our 2nd floor (only two floors) apartment and in order to keep our pets safe in doors, we kept them in the bathroom so they couldn’t escape. One was still in there but the other is missing. I looked under the sink and he had prayed away the wall into the plumbing behind the tub. I can see down and there is a crawl space about 3 ft down. I am worried sick. He is always so quiet when he is scared. We tried tempting him with his favorite food. Calling him. Nothing. It’s been about 7 hours now since we notice he was gone. We checked with maintenance and they said this happens a few times a year and to just wait. Any advice is welcome. We plan to be at the apartment all day working so I’m hoping he will come out when it seems normal. I can’t stop crying though. I am worried he will never find his way back out or if he jumped down, won’t be able to get back up through the narrow passage way.
