My cat is almost a year old, had her since she was 8 weeks, and she is my absolute best friend. I am mainly home every day due to online school and working from home, and have been with her every day all day since I got her basically.
That being said, I will literally cancel plans and errands I have to run, and opt for online shopping due to the fact that I do not want to leave her alone or be without her. I tried a harness and leash but she hates it and refuses to put it on and doesn’t like being outside. As I’m typing this I’m realizing that it sounds very unhealthy but I just don’t know the cause of this.
I’m about to graduate nursing school, and I think all the time about what I’m going to have to do leaving her alone 12+ hours, 3 days a week once I get a job.
Does/Did anyone else deal with this? How did you cope.
