A few days ago I went to a hospital far from home for 3 days because of my medical checkup. I have 2
domestic shorthair cats, Gafari (4 years old by tomorrow) and Otty (3 months old). My father, younger sister and I went to the medical checkup while only my mother stays at home with the cats because of work. When we were away, my mother told us that Gafari was very hungry when she came back at night. We all thought that it was normal as it was from morning to night (went to work at 830 morning to 1030ish night so it was more than 12 hours). This happens twice as on the third day we went back home.
Fast forward to today, I saw Gafari was not as active as before, he's just sitting at the corner not making any noise and all curled up, even his fur is all fuzzed up. When I picked him up he just stood still. As I put him in a different place he only stood still for a while and sat down in the middle of the living room. What broke my heart is when he walked slowly to a corner and sit down all curled up again. After some time, he peed himself on the floor. He's sick that's for sure but I don't know if it's a disease or just a bad tummy ache.
I'm scared, Gafari has been with me for almost 4 years and I don't want to lose him. I'll bring him to a vet in a couple of hours and I'll give some news if it's good.
