When the dehumidifier in the basement gets full I gotta dump the water down the drain. Was just thinking, this should be fresh water right? Can I use this for my cats water bowl? I don't think we have the greatest tap water here, at least I don't drink it, so I feel bad using that for their water, so figured this might be an oppurtunity for fresher water for them (tap water leaves white residue if left on a surface, so after something like a shower, you got white splotches all over the shower).
Unless there is something that the dehumidifier adds to the water? If I am thinking correct, it just pulls in moist air and converts to water right?
