I’ve seen it all over social media. People slamming another person for letting their cat roam free. But why?
If I’m paying £45+ to get my cat the correct injections so they don’t catch something when they go outside and then even more on top of that to prevent them from having kittens you best believe they’re going outside!
People will say “well yeah, but they kill birds and other animals.” That’s nature. They kill for food. Humans kill for fun, love, sport etc.
If you saw a dog caged or a “wild cat” caged you’d start protesting but you want cat owners to keep their cat trapped inside 24/7? I think that’s just cruel to them.
So unless my vet tells me to keep my cat inside I’m going to let her roam wherever she would like because I know that she would come back to us.
