Our neighbor (we stay in a flat complex) got a kitten yesterday, and by the looks of it, it's probably just over 6 weeks old and they are leaving the kitten to go outside unsupervised. Apart from all the other dangers like cars and small holes to other areas, my cat has always been very aggressive towards other cats and she did not take well to this kitten, she immediately went on the offensive and I had to rush to go get her and she is currently staying inside. The kitten wasn't hurt. Now, from what I have read online, cats will usually have their "spats" and then tolerate eachother, but this kitten is super small and my cat could do serious damage so I can't leave her to go outside, and it's hard on her since she has been a outdoor-day, nightime-inside cat for nearly 12 years. The owners are also never home and their kids laugh and curse at us if we try and tell them to stop screaming (before the kitten) so talking to them won't help. I don't know what to do...?
