Can I get sick from my cat sneezing on me? & help needed on treating cat with cold at home.

This may sounds like a stupid question but I’ve read some confusing answers on this and can’t seem to find a solid yes or no answer.

My cat has been sneezing and pawing her face for the past 2 days and just started coughing (hard to explain, not full on coughing with the sound but I can tell that’s what she’s trying to do by her stomach) and breathing with her mouth open (every now and then) today. She has no discharge or oozing from the eyes or nose but her eyes do look a little watery to me.

I’ve been bringing her into the bathroom with me while I shower and started running my humidifier in my room. I’m going to get her into the vet Thursday morning - but are there any suggestions to help her feel better in the meantime? She’s still eating and drinking like normal, she just doesn’t seem as perky as usual. :(
