My dad let my cat out in my home's backyard to chill around for a bit. My family has been taking care of a stray cat the past few months that has been visiting our backyard by giving the stray cat food. My dad forgot to put away the remaining bits of food the stray cat did not eat yesterday and my cat ended up eating some of the food.
I am worried that my cat now may get sick from some disease. My cat is almost 2 years old and has received all of his vaccines, like rabies, cat cancer etc, along with his yearly flu shots. I have been worried all day today that he might get sick and I don't know if I am overreacting about it. I was thinking about taking him to a vet, but because of COVID, I am hesitant to bring my cat to the vet.
Should I have nothing to be worried about and my cat is most likely fine?
