Help us stop the dog meat trade.

Hi I really hope you are well.

I was hoping I could speak with you about the conversation we had the other day.

You came across as really enthusiastic about our cause and I wanted to let you know that I’ve been hard at work doing what I can.

Where we stand currently is , we have plans in motion to build a bigger shelter, where we’ll be able to house many more animals.

I don’t know if you’re familiar at all with the welfare of cats and dogs in Cambodia, if you you’re not it’s okay, cause we hope to change the treatment of these animals and with help like yours, we will make an impact that will last.

In our current project, we’re trying to raise £1000, where we’ll be able to build the roof and expand our animal sanctuary.

The laws in Cambodia don’t give animals any rights, so in our process of building this animal sanctuary, we will also be building a solid foundation that reflects what we stand for. Once we have the building in place, we can the start to educate the children, because with dog meat being so cheap, many children will grow up around the slaughtering of dogs mainly but cats aswell. And the only way to change this, is through what we’re doing here.

While Cambodia is the poorest country in south east Asia, this means we struggle more to build funds for this project, this coupled with the fact we’re not on a tourist route, and at current we’re not yet backed by the locals, who still trade dogs openly.

In 2014 there was a ban in the dog and cat meat trade in Thailand, so we know that we can do the same here, but we need the help of people like you to build this sanctuary and once we have our structures built and start making a difference, we would love to welcome you here to visit.
