Before I go on a monologue I'll list the things she does on the daily that are now getting on my nerves:
- Constant meowing to go in, to go out, for attention (always done this but way worse atm)
- Scratching at all doors, all night if necessary
- Biting and scratching family members, complaining when petted
She's a young cat a year and a half, I've always tried to respect her space, know when to pet her or when she needs her time (now I'm realizing she may have gotten the wrong idea with this). Just the past week I got her a cat backpack and have been taking her outside to enjoy the weather (Canadian resident here lol) because we live in an apartment and I feel as all other animals, she too deserves to experience some kind of nature and sunlight when possible, however this too seemed to have backfired and I'm getting concerned she's starting to annoy the neighbors with her constant noise at the entrance door. Let me know what to do, I've read cats don't react to punishment but the only escape I've found is to close her in her litter room with her food and water when she's temperamental. She's always scratched my other family members and I thought it was her way of being, but now she's scratching me too when I don't cave into her desires.
Don't get me wrong I love her to death but recently she keeps getting more and more vocal/annoying and I'm starting to dislike her overall attitude. I'm now trying to train even though I've never done this before I'm hoping it'll work + any tips on that as well?
Please feel free to enlighten me in any aspect, thank you.
