Last night we had to take our older cat into the emergency vet due to breathing issues. We have been dealing with this for awhile. First it was just her allergies, then an asthma flair, then the asthma not getting better, to now something going on in her nose that will require a CT scan and a scope up her nose. We are going to be spending up to 4000 dollars in treatment. I know many people would say why spend that she is just a cat……
And they would be right she is just a cat….. A cat that says good bye to my husband every morning. She waits for him by the door for her good bye pats
She is just a cat…. That some how knows when my husband is coming home and will wait for him by the door
She is just a cat…. That when someone isn’t feeling well she is lay next to them purring helping to make them feel better
She is just a cat… that has helped my daughter learn how to be gentle with animals by being gentle with her
She is just a cat…. That is such an important part of this family.
So to those that say she is just a cat…. I say to you, you are just a human. She is an amazing dynamic cat that we will try to help live a long and healthy life as long as she keeps fighting. Thank you for reading about my amazing sweet princess kitten.
