We are all adults in our 30s. My brother leaves the dog to the care to a tenant that is his friend. This was their first dog and they did not do a good job at training him.
Anytime I bring a person to the house or go near his food source he becomes super angry and will attack. He has cornered us and at points not allowed us to move from said corner.
If he senses someone is in my room, he will sit by my door waiting for me to open it in order to attack.
He seems to really hate people coming into the house who he is not familiar with.
This behavior stops completely when my brother is home, and in turn, he does not consider the dog to be dangerous or hostile.
I am getting sick of having to “sneak” people in and locking him in a room. He knows when we want to close him in a room and will also attack.
Is it too late? Maybe he needs to be given away or put down given his violent behavior and hostility to anyone but his owner.
