I have had a kitten for 2 months (she is 5.5 months old), and seems to be distant from me since I got a new kitten (5ish months) yesterday.

Ever since the new kitten entered the home, my old kitten has been extremely playful with the new one, but seems to ignore me and not want to be near me. She used to always want pets and purr, but has not since the new kitten has entered the home. Should I be concerned?

Also, when they play, my old kitten seems extremely interested in the new one, but the new one seems far more interested in me than my old kitten.
