I have no idea what he wants!

So we have a male cat here who we've had for years since he was 2-4 months old.

He's normally low maintenance - only wanting to lay in the sun, eat and be petted. He doesn't ask for much or meow unless he's alone, wants to be petted, is hungry/thirsty in general or REALLY wants his favorite aka wet food which he only gets in the evening.

If he's content about the aforementioned he will pretty much so his own thing most of the day and sleep.

More recently though he's been coming into the bedroom while I work from home and does quick meows (like when he wants something) and I'm not sure what it is.

He has food and drink out, he's not alone and I've petted him but he still will meow every 15 - 30 min and look at me like he's wanting something. I've even brushed him more than normal (he loves to be brushed) and he still meows.

I just assume it's attention seeking behavior but I'm not sure if I'm right because he normally doesn't seek attention constantly.

Any ideas?
