My cat doesnt wanna stop playing

Hi

I am new to having a cat we adopted him 4 months ago and everything seemed to be fine at first, he was very cuddly and loving but now he doesn't wanna stop playing and I'm desperate for him to stop. I cant sleep at night and have developed insomnia. I try changing his routine feeding him before bed playing with him for more then 3h every single day and he just doesn't stop . I cannot ignore his pleads because he keeps scratching everything and biting cables, running around bumping into objects. I'm at the breaking point of giving him away cause I don't know what more I can do.

He is a male Bombay Bay cat 2 years old.

Please I am desperate to find a solution, cause its making my mental health worse then it was.
