A few days ago, my Cat #1 came from a vet with an E-collar. This shocked my hyperactive Cat #2 who panicked and ran, then I discovered this on the floor moments later.
This looks like an empty claw shell. So I checked out my Cat #2's paw, and his left back paw looked like below (please ignore my bandaged hand). So I put a disinfective wound flush I bought from my vet store on the paw and rinsed it with warm water.
But today, I can't even see the red blob I saw earlier, it just disappeared. Has anyone with an active cat experienced this? An entire cat claw shell falling out? Any stories would be appreciated. Thank you!
