Hello, cat people of Reddit.
My girlfriend brought home a cat recently, she's about 1 year old. She's very chill and hides in every dark place she can find.
She was a stray cat, hasn't been washed yet, and her vet visit isn't until tomorrow.
For that reason, I've gotten quite anxious about the hygiene of this whole thing. I feel like even touching the same place she has will infect me with parasites ,or something.
I know I'm overreacting a bit, but I can't help being anxious about it.
Any advice, or words to ease my axniety would be more than welcome.
