I have some feral cats in my back yard I’ve been taking care of (yes I got them spayed/neutered) it’s a mother and her 3 kids. One of them. Every now and then they all go out and will be either gone for the day or leisure around out in back patio. One of the cats named goose, is usually kinda like a mammas boy, he’s always close to his mom and he never strays far from the group, unlike his brother maverick who usually goes more rogue. But goose recently has been missing for 5 days now and I’ve been getting very worried cause any of the other cats I can see it happening but definitely not him.
I checked as much as I could in the woods and didn’t find him. We don’t live in an area where there’s big crazy predators, at the worst maybe foxes, or raccoons. We live in a cul de sac as well so there isn’t that much woods until you’re in someone else’s property. We did get heavy rain today yesterday and the day before
Anyone think there’s a chance he could still be okay? Only thing that worries me is that it’s not like him to be gone this long, the other cats yeah, but not him. Also I ruled out him getting hit by car just cause we definitely would’ve seen by now
Any advice on what can be done or any words or similar experiences to help encourage he’s okay would be appreciated
