I hate it, but we had to start putting the muzzle on our doggo when we go out for walks a couple of days ago. He is miserable in it and constantly trying to get it off, but we can't get him to stop chasing after every jogger he sees. Two days ago he even started nipping at one and that's when we knew we had to go to the muzzle for now.
It's really breaking my heart walking with him the past couple of days because he clearly HATES it, but I'm not sure what else to do. Any advice until we can get him some extra training? He is turning 10 tomorrow but we've only had him for about 8 months and don't know much about how he was trained/treated by the previous owner and it doesn't seem like he's interested in listening to us/behaving for us when he doesn't want to.
We WILL be getting training eventually, but it's not financially feasible at the moment (I recently lost my job and am trying to get back on my feet.)
