Never had an issue with fleas before, can’t really figure out where it came from besides my Grandmas cat since it’s the only pet in the house. I just babysat my Moms dog a few days ago & he came over for a day. So it was either one of them. My Grandmas cat had just gotten his flea meds the day my moms dog left & he already had his flea meds, so who knows.
It’s really hard to tell with fleas, but I’m pretty sure it’s just one that is in my room right now. I noticed it inside my sleeve when I took my sweatshirt off, before I could even try to kill it it jumped away. It was late at night so I put peppermint oil all over my body lol & went to bed. Woke up with like 11 bites, so many people say peppermint oil works?? I’ve vacuumed my room twice, I don’t have carpeting, just two small area rugs that are white. I used this pet friendly flea killing spray & sprayed it on my rugs and furniture after vacuuming. I washed all my sheets, I showered and put on peppermint oil and sprayed my bed with lavender oil and the fucking flea still is in my room! I noticed it just now stuck in between my keyboards keycaps, so I quickly brought it outside my room. I’m hoping that is the last of it & it didn’t just jump right back onto me. Is there any other way to get rid of fleas? How long do they normally live & can I just wait it out until it dies? I’m just sick of this little shit blasting me with bites!
