My cats are pretty friendly with each other. Occasionally grooming and lots of playing together. They chase each other all of the apartment for maybe a half hour every few hours. They’re honestly great. One is so damn friendly to everyone and the other is very stoic and mildly shy but also very cuddly from time to time.
However, there is one thing I’m worried about. On occasion, one will by laying on the bed or couch and suddenly the other will pounce on the other and they start wrestling. Their ears are back (not pinned back, but back) and I can’t really tell if they’re taking turns pinning the other or biting each other’s neck. And one will sometimes give out a little noise, seemingly like a growl. I cant catch claws out, but the wrestling is quite intense.
What are some signs I should be looking for to know if this is aggression or play?
