I know I know. "B-But supplements are necessary!" I simply don't have access to a billion different supplements. I don't know if its my country or my town or what. But I dont think that kind of thing is available for sale here. (ordering online is just not an option either)
I talked to my vet about what he thinks I should do for a homemade diet and he kind of just pointed me in the direction of his dry food that he has for sale because the dry food here is kind of the only thing that has all the necessary supplements already in it. (taurine etc) I asked if there was any other way of getting taurine and everything he needs and he said no not really and that dry food is the best. And that I should feed him a mix of cooked meats and rice and kibble etc 5 days of the week and then 2 days raw diet. (he talked about how raw is really good for them but the possible harmful bacterias is a pretty big risk so its best to keep it to a minimum).
I believe him, but there seems to be a lot of disagreement online and everytime i look for a recipe, they ALL have supplements. So if anyone has any recipes that has been healthy for your cat and has everything they need without the supplements, please please let me know. Thank you!
