My cat has a food intolerance of some kind. Ive never been able to figure out what the cause was.
I've tried a bunch of limited ingredient foods but they all had the same effect on her. Her poop was always really soft and a mix of light brown and light green colors. The green is what really worries me. That is her only symptom.
I've tried different kinds of fish, chicken, and turkey, and rabbit.
The only one that made her poop normal was the rabbit. The turkey one I tried had the exact same ingredients as the rabbit except for it being turkey. That is what makes me suspect its the protein causing her issue.
I dont think she really likes the rabbit kind though and I also wish I could figure out the cause for her food intolerance.
Im just lost. Can a cat really have an intolerance to all poultry and all fish? That seems like it's unlikely.
Ive thought about trying those digestive foods too, but my mind is always thinking they wont do anything if her reaction is to the proteins since those all contain chicken, fish, etc and we've tried limited ingredient diets already. I dont know what the difference would be.
Any suggestions? Also, should the fact that her poop has a lot of green in it cause any more worry than if it was just soft?
