Since some recent events, two of my cats that I consider more standoff-ish (main coon mix wouldn't get on furniture or allow more than a few pets, tortie growled at anyone not my son and wouldn't allow any pets from me) have been snuggling more often or just being close and wanting to cuddle.
Today, I was having an emotional breakdown and crying in my bed in the dark. Then, I hear deep purring and the tortie was pushing my hands from my face and trying to e courage me to pet her. Next, main coon cuddles around my back and out his head across my neck. I've had dogs act like this when I'm not doing well, but never cats. Just wondering if anyone else has stories like this? I thought it was really interesting.
