Hi Everyone,
My dog is 10. She has a Mass tumor underneath her eye that has gotten so big that you cannot see her eye anymore. It is very sad to see her like this. It keeps getting bigger very slowly and it has been over 3 months now. She is on pain medications. We didn't get it surgically removed because they said she has lung cancer so it would only be for her comfort. She is always trying to scratch her tumor so we have sine coned her. It is dripping tiny bits of blood daily out of her eye.
However, she is still eating, playful, and pretty active. She doesn't look like she has slown down. That is why I am having difficulty scheduling her euthanasia. My family is also content with putting her down at this point. I am also crying everyday when I am looking at her at this stage. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Also, doctor said she would pass away 6 months with Chemo included but we haven't done chemo and she hasn't slowed down 3 months after.
TLDR;
My Dog has tumours/cancer around her eye and lungs. She is still active and living normally after having it for months but she is now blind on one eye. Should I put her down or wait until she is less active?
