Hey there everybody =) TW for animal injury.
Theres a stray cat colony next to my house and one of the kittens (which I was already planning on keeping) was inside my moms car when she started the engine. Her tail ended up degloving and she broke her pelvis and popped out one of her legs from it's socket. Basically i'm just wondering if anyone has any tips on keeping her clean. She's already been to an emergency vet and we have an appointment on Monday to get her consulted for the surgeries she's going to be needing. I notice she's been going to the bathroom a lot. And usually it leaves her messy. So i've been trying to clean her as much as I can but it's really hard because she gets really feisty when I start cleaning her. Also I'm using wipes because I don't believe I can be giving her full baths right now with her tail injured like it is. (It still needs to be amputated) But it seems to just kinda be making her wet and honestly thats it. Doesn't seem to be cleaning her that much which is why I'm wondering if anyone has any tips for cleaning her better.
I'm just wondering if anyone has any tips or stuff like that because my mom and I are doing the best we can to care for her and I just want to make sure we can do the absolute best we can :)
