We brought home a new kitten two nights ago who's almost 3 months old and he's getting along fine with out 6 month old kitten the only problem is the older kitten isn't being affectionate towards us anymore. Will this change as time goes on?

The two kittens play fight the entire time and don't mind being around each other. Yes there's a little bit of hissing but nothing you wouldn't expect especially seeing how good they are together on the third day. The older kitten Theodore used to be the most loving cat ever always wanting to be up with us at every second of the day. We had almost thought he might have even had separation anxiety as he would be waiting by the door for us when we get home along side of some of his other behaviors. We're just worried he will stay like this and would consider giving the new kitten to a family member who's looking for one if it's not going to work out.
