Hello all! Me and my family have come to a difficult decision with our cat 11 year old cat Walter and any advice would be awesome.
So Walter is sick and here are his symptoms
Weight loss for past 6th months (but we also adjusted his diet since he was overweight)
And in the past couple days...
Blood tests had a lot of beryllium
Not eating or drinking for past 1.5 days
Diarrhea and maybe throw up
Not very responsive, only laying down
So the vet said it is probably lymphoma or a gastrointestinal thing (which would be more fixable apparently)
So any advice is appreciated! We are stuck on wether to...
1) Put him down to stop suffering (but if it is Gastrointestinal and we don't realize/give him chance this would be bad)
2) Try a treatment like Chemo (some websites say cats handle chemo well, but they are also Vet websites so could be biased)
3) Other options?
