My dog is really into playing fetch (he is a border collie and he treats the game like a job) at the local dog park. Sometimes other dogs join in because they want to chase after my dog. My dog is cool if they are also after the ball but he gets super angry and aggressive if a big dog (any dog > 50lbs) is actually trying to chase him. I am not sure if he thinks they are trying to attack him or he is nervous but I have observed several occasion where my dog would turn around and snap at the other dog after running a stretch. My dog is socialized and pretty chill except when it is time to play fetch. How can I correct this behavior?
