I've lived with cats for the last 4-5 years, but in small apartments. My mom is going to be getting her own cat (6 months or older), but she and my dad live in a 2 story house. I know the rule of thumb is two litter boxes per cat, but for a big house like this, is there an ideal strategic placement we should use?
