I am a college student, but I'm still very close to my dog even though I don't live with him most of the time. Earlier this week, my parents noticed he was limping. He was running around as normal, but also not putting weight on it at times. Finally my mom took him to the vet today and all of his lymph nodes were swollen. They sent them off for a biopsy, but I'm afraid we will find out it's cancer. We just got him in March, and I would hate to have to see him go downhill due to cancer. We will not know the results until Tuesday or Wednesday, so it is quite a ways off. I have a sick feeling. Does anyone have suggestions on how to cope with this? I'm terrified.
