Yesterday morning while walking my dog she scooped up some kind of hostess/candy wrapper with food in it and choked it down, plastic wrapper and all, before I could stop her. The rest of the day she acted fine, greeting me enthusiastically at the door, playing hard with other dogs in the dog park, pooping, eating. The following morning she didnt wake me up for breakfast like she usually does. Instead, she threw up yellow bile and didn't eat her food (she's usually practically dancing for it when I pour it in the bowl). I decided not to walk her, let her rest, and wait until dinner. She enthusiastically walked with me in the late afternoon. She also pooped, which relieved me because I was wondering if the plastic was stuck and blocking her up. But she wouldn't eat dinner.
Fast forward a few hours later and now she's right now very lethargic. I came home after a late-night errand run and she didn't even get up to greet me. When i hold food or water under her nose she kind of puckers/licks, like she's salivating. I don't know if it's a hungry salivation or a nauseated salivation, but she doesn't touch it. It's 11pm, and I've made up my mind to take her to the vet tomorrow morning. But I wanted to double check with more experienced animal people to see if these symptoms mean its something I shouldn't wait on until morning. Should I take her to an emergency vet clinic right now? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated
