My dog (16 years old, Jack Russell x Fox Terrier) was lying on her cushion and suddenly jumped up, but it looked like she couldn't move. She was in a squatting position and when she moved from her cushion she was staggering around and squatted again. Turns out she peed both times. Since then she's been needing to go down to the garden a lot and has been busy for an extended period of time. She's never shown this sort of incontinence before.
She's now struggling to climb stairs and is still staggering around and seems very disoriented. She also just stands there as though her back legs have seized up. She's also shivering. She struggled to bend her head down to eat and we had to lift the bowl to her mouth and she then ate without a problem.
It should be noted that she has a tumour in her bladder and her kidneys are failing (she was too old to operate on when she was diagnosed).
