My cat has recently started peeing on the car pet and on my bed. I changed the litter recently and changed it back to the one she liked and that seems to have fixed the soiling on carpet.
However, when she sleep on my bed at night, it has been twice now that I have found the smell of cat pee in the morning on the exact spot where she slept.
During the day, I keep my bedroom door closed when I am at work and she has been using the litterboxes fine (2 of them). When she is awake, she goes to the litterbox from my room so I don't think she has a problem with the boxes or reaching them.
I suspect that it has been too cold for her (it is currently winter) and the warmth of the bed, blankets and my body heat just knock her out.
Is there any way I can stop her from soiling my bed? I really don't want to only use throw blankets this winter. I did that this whole week while cleaning the sheets, etc and I was freezing overnight!
Any advice would be appreciated.
I will also add that vet said there is nothing physically wrong with her and it is a behavioural issue.
