My mum left us (me 18 and my sister 17) home alone for a ten days.
My cat got recently diagnosed with IBD and it didn't got better so he's on veterinary food rn.
It's been a week since my mum left, she gave us 100zł each in case we run out of food.
I spend 30zł on his new cat food that our vet recomended. He eats one bowl of it per day and yesterday (in the middle of the night) I noticed his food is about to run out.
I fucked up, I thought it will last for those ten days (it's his first time eating it and he's not a huge fan of dry food so I thought he'll be picky. I also failed my math class if that's relevant).
After doing my math a week ago I thought I had some money for myself to spend as I like so I spend 40zł on a game and the rest on ciggaretes... I know I'm stupid.. I asked my sister and she also don't have any left.
So the plan was to call my grandma today for help in advance because the delivery of that food takes 24h so he would have a new bag tommorow. My grandma didn't picked out since she's working and now the vet is closed.
She'll come over tommorow and I'll buy him his food and also take him to the vet since it didn't worked but that means he doesn't have anything to eat tommorow exept for that cheap cat food from the grocery store...
I don't want to starve him for a day and I don't want to make the situation worse by giving him that crap.. What do I do? Could I borrow more money from my grandma and cook him some chicken (without any toppings, just chicken in boiled water) or is it a bad idea? Should I but him a good quality food from the vet that isn't a veterinary food and didn't helped before but at least contains meat?
