I've had my puppy for almost 2 months and I really thought my easy going, loves other animals cat would accept the pup.
Unfortunately, she has decided to show us how upset she is by pooping on the bed. I bought a pheromone calming air dispenser and it's been 5 days, but still the poops continue. I locked her out of the room (except when we were there to supervise) and the day I decided to try and trust her as she'd been so good and nice...within 15 minutes there was a turd on the bed.
She still gets lots of pets, attention and play time. She doesn't have fear of the pup and goes and watches her through the baby gate or stands on the counter hissing towards the sleeping puppy. Occasionally sniffs her or stands in the path of the dog.
Any suggestions on how to get her past jealousy and pooing outside her box?
