Tips for poopy paws?

My boyfriend and I recently adopted a cat from the humane society, recently as in about a month ago. While he was getting adjusted he seemed fine, but he’s had bathroom issues on and off since we got him. It recently got worse to where he was having diarrhea 4 times a day at least and every single time he went to the litter box he would emerge with poopy paws. We took him to the vet and it seems he has intestinal worms and has had them for a long time. We are very frustrated with our local humane society for not letting us know of his true condition, as he also had ringworm when we got him, but I guess that doesn’t really matter anymore. I really need advice or tips for preventing poopy paws. I know he is super sick and he feels yuck so I’m trying to not get frustrated with him, but 4 times a day minimum we are having to soak and bathe his feet to get rid of the diarrhea and also having to clean our entire downstairs where he’s stepped. If anyone has anything that could help us our we’d really appreciate it. Thank you in advance.

TL;DR My kitten is sick with intestinal worms and tracking his diarrhea everywhere every time he goes. I need tips to stop this.
