Help: Getting puppy at 6 weeks, anything special I need to know?

So, I've had a dog prior. We recently lost our black lab of 15 1/2 years (still miss her dearly), and by a stroke of fate will be able to get a chocolate lab in Jan., and they will be at 6 weeks old (not our choice, that is when the person is giving them away).

I believe when we had our initial dog we got her at about/little over 8 weeks. I was wondering if, being two weeks younger, there was anything else specific I should be worried about with early puppy development.

I want to make sure I give this pup a great life, and don't want to mess it up from early on, and I'm just mega stressing I'll do something wrong. (Just because it would be two weeks younger)
