An hour ago he ate part of a coloured pencil, then quietly put himself in time out when I found it.
He was sitting on the sofa with the kitten, both looking very guilty. A chewed and broken cat toy sat in front of them. Not sure how the kitten was involved, or how he knew to look guilty, but I imagine this is the first of many incidents of them causing mischief together.
He ran out the front door while I was getting a takeaway delivered. He was trying to play with the delivery driver, refused to come back inside. I ended up chasing him around the front garden in my socks and dressing gown, while the delivery girl nearly keeled over laughing. Then he started running towards the road and I stopped chasing and said stop very seriously. Thankfully he realised it wasnt playtime ran back in the house. Boyfriend was busy holding the kitten to stop him running out the house too.
A piece if pizza went missing and I'm not sure if it was him, the kitten, or both.
Kitten has decided chewing wires is a new game, and so now puppy, who was finally trained to not do that, has started copying. Same for trying to eat my food. If kitten does it, puppy thinks it's fair game again.
I'm often using one hand to prevent puppy harassing kitten, then my other hand trying to stop the kitten eating my food or a wire, leaving no hands for me to eat. This seems to be what half my waking hours now are. During family video calls youd think I had two toddlers, constantly interrupting to tell puppy off, stop one accidentally killing themselves or each other, or stealing each others stuff.
