Hello my girlfriend and i are moving together in 2 months. We each have 2 cats. She will be taking her two very young and energic cats (male 1y, female 2y) into the new appartment.
Due to covid i had to move to my parents place last year in middle march. My parents live in a rural area so when i brought my originally inside cats to their place they became outside cats. They are both 4 years old. One male one female. Their first 3 years was alone with me in a rather small apartement.
Now for the question:
Originally i didnt want to bring them into the new the appartment with my girlfriend and her cats but the closer moving day gets the more i think about trying. They seem to cuddle more these days as if they know whats happening and are trying to tell me "dont leave".
I cant really imagine how to bring 4 cats together in an appartment that is new to every single one of them and with 2 of the cats being outside cats that will have no way of being able to go outside apart from a rather small balcony. Any experience, tips or ideas?
Is it wise to bring my girfriends cats first and then after a few weeks try to bring my cats ? I feel like that will be an even worse plan. So for me right now the only plan is moving with all 4 or just 2
