Dog Urine Between Hardwood Flooring?

I'm watching my parent's senior dog at my apartment this week and he often times does have accidents. He's peed already a couple of times on our hardwood floor this week.

However, my apartment has some areas where the hardwood flooring isn't flush against each panel, so there may be a tiny tiny gap between them.

So I was wondering if he were to urinate on the floor and some gets into the little gaps, how I would deal with this?

Any ideas?
