Cat pees on us while we are asleep, i would like to know why

I found her on the streets when she was six months old so she still is a bit wild, but this is something else.

I brought her home about 5 months ago and she did her business in the litter from the beginning. Shes a bit shy, a little scared but shes done extremely well with us except for one little problem. If we let her sit on the bed, there is a 100% chance that she will pee on us while we are sleeeping.

The first time we figured it was because the door to the bathroom (her litter) was closed. Okay, no problem, we changed the sheets and aplogized profusely. Cue vicious cycle. The second time, the vet said she was 'punishing us' because we left her over the weekend.

So we stopped letting her sit on the bed.

But she's so fucking cute, we gave in again. She peed again, vet isnt sure, thinks maybe it was because she was upset that I was spending more time at home. Yes, my feelings were hurt.

So, no bed time. Now my wife is too cute, convinced that it wont happen again, so....

This last time, she sat on the bed for one day, maybe two, got a few pets and then boom. She peed at night, while we are sleeping. She doesnt pee anywhere else. Usually the same spot.

Regardless of how cute anyone is, this cat is not sleeping on my bed again, but i would like to know why she is doing this. Any ideas?
