My dog got diagnosed with a skin condition Thursday last week and has been on antibiotic pills from Friday because the vet gave him antibiotic shots in his back the day of the appointment. He also has another packet of pills but idk what they are the vet just kinda handed us a bunch of pills and said “give him these” and the instructions of how often to give them are on the bottle but not what they are. So he’s been on antibiotic pills for 5 days along with the other pills. Maybe 2-3 days ago he started just peeing next to the back door. Sometimes we weren’t home and we understand accidents happen but when we are home he’ll usually go to the back door and whine til we open it, but recently he’s just been getting up and going to pee which he hasn’t done from he was a puppy and he’s 13 now. It’s definitely not our other dog (we assumed cause he drinks a lot of water, but he’s not sick don’t worry just either likes water or is cleaning his face after eating wet food) but it’s not him because he was with me when I heard the other dog get up and do it. We have a checkup appointment on Thursday but I mean in the past 15 hours he’s done it at least 3 times that I’ve seen, and the longest he would’ve went without being let outside is 5 hours because I let them out before I sleep which is around 1-2AM and my dad gets up at 5-6AM for his work and let’s them out, then I woke up at 10AM and there’s pee everywhere.
Edited: forgot to mention that these aren’t little dribble accidents, he lifts his leg up to the side of the wall/door and it’s a WATERFALL of pee I mean like you can’t clean it up with papertowels and spray it has to be mopped and the water spreads across the room there’s that much. His bladder is definitely full when he does it.
