My 4-year-old Persian started randomly vomiting once every morning about a week ago. We took her to the vet twice and the clinic could not find a thing wrong. She's been x-rayed, had a full bloodwork profile and urine test and everything looked nearly perfect. The only thing they noticed is she had a bit of poop in her colon, so we've been advised to try giving her a very small dosage of some MiraLAX. The vet also gave us anti-vomiting medication which she took last night but alas, she once again vomited this morning. When she vomits she'll usually spit up small chunks of her usual food until nothing but water comes up. Her diet and eating habits haven't changed in the past 2 years.
Otherwise she's fine? She acts pretty normal, maybe a tad lethargic since it started, but still grooming, eating, drinking, and as vocal as usual? She displayed no pain response during the vet and nurse's physicals.
We'll be taking her back to the vet on Friday if things don't shape up. Has anyone had a similar situation? What might we be overlooking?
