Small flea infestation from small roaming critters

My house currently has rat problems and along side with it came the tinier fiends, the fleas. I have only seen around 4 fleas in total that I was able to catch and drown in dawn soap water myself, but I am extremely concerned about the growth and health of my home. I have no actual pets in years but these rodents have brought back these pests and I have tried everything to rid of the rodents already so next best thing is to treat the bugs itself. I heard that precor premise spray is effective. The instructions are clear but I wanted to make sure what I should or should not do before and after. I have pillows and cushions in the living room and was wondering if it is necessary to bag those or how I should use the spray around those type of furniture. The spray says furniture but I'm not sure how I feel about spraying beds and all.

I know this is probably not the thread to post this but I wasn't sure if it was this or homeimprovement.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I know this is an issue a lot of others face too.
